Abstract
Cette étude s'intéresse au rôle des perceptions de la positivité des relations (communication positive, gestes d'attention et souvenirs de moments heureux) chez des couples (1) intégrés à la communauté et (2) en thérapie clinique. La positivité du mariage a également été examinée auprès de trois sous-groupes des couples en clinique, classés selon que le mari était non-agressif, peu agressif ou très agressif. Les résultats confirment que les époux des couples non perturbés partagent une communication positive de meilleure qualité et plus fréquente, ainsi que de plus nombreux souvenirs de moments heureux que les couples en thérapie clinique. Cependant, les maris en thérapie évaluent le comportement attentif de leurs épouses encore plus négativement que leur propre comportement, tandis que les autres maris décrivent le comportement attentif de leurs femmes comme étant plus positif. Des différences sont également notées dans les trois sous-groupes
